Feeding catfish cooked chicken

I was just curious to see if my white tip catfish sharks would eat chicken. So I tossed a piece in the tank and to my surprise they tared it apart and swallowed in a quickness. They seemed pretty excited about it, swimming fast and looking for more. I only tried this once cause i'm not sure if cooked chicken is bad for them. Any one else fed their fish some human food?

Hmm, I've heard of feeding veggies or sealife, but not meat of any kind. Have you done any other research on this to make sure they don't have allergic reactions or that it does something bad to their digestive system?

Maybe someone will pop in here with some better info than me, hopefully...

My cory catfish does not seem to eat anything - they swim by srimp pellets, algae wafers, etc. I do not know how poor things survive.
