Feeding Flies/Fruit Flies

I currently live in a 100+ year old house in downtown charleston, so fruit flies and flies in general can be a problem. They land in my tank occasionally And would like to know if its okay if my fish eat them instead of having to net them out.

If they eat them, I don't see why not. Free fish food.
