I keep them in a plastic container like you get takeout Chinese soup in, and I mark it clearly as to contents.
I have a wire strainer that I use only for this purpose, and rinse them in that. Then I use a plastic fork and snag the quantity I want. They are packed together so you get a whole lot more worms than you think when you grab a quantity. I also use a cone worm feeder. Mine comes with a ring and a cone you drop in the ring. I use the ring part to feed flake and other foods, as it keeps everything in one area, and the fish are fast learners! Have fun, your fish are going to really love it
