Feeding new fish?

Once I put fish in my new aquarium how long should I wait to feed them?

I usually feed them the next day. Many fish are too shy to eat the first day and the food just falls to the bottem to rot if you don't have other fish in the tank. If you have other fish then just keep your same feeding schedule and the new ones will eat when they eat. Hope that helps :P

Oh and welcome to AA :P What size tank do you have? What fish did you add?
Is the tank cycled?

I agree with talloulou. Wait until the next day to attempt to feed. They probably won't eat the first day.
