Female guppy not wanting to breed - Aquarium Advice

I was wondering if it was normal or just perferance for a female guppy not to want to have intercourse with a male. Its just everytime my male goes over to her and trying to turn alittle she starts freaking out and swims full speed away.

Female livebearers can actually hold on to the sperm of males for many broods, so it's possible that she's already gravid (and it hasn't shown yet). Either that or she has identity problems or isn't accepting his advances for some other *unknown* reason . . . sorry, that's the extent of my livebearer knowledge!

Well she has shown signs of being pregancy but I wasnt sure if that would cause her not to want to have intercourse again :P I had a female drop some fry a couple days ago.
