Female siamese fighting fish flaring??

I have a male and female bettas in same tank. I taught they would get a long. They were for about 2 months. Sometimes the male might flare but the female would just swim away and that was the end if it.

But recently there's constant chasing from the male and last night i evem seen the female flaring. I taught only males do this? ?

Could i have 2 males ?

You could or u couldn't There's a reason for their name though.. If you could upload it would help alot..

Any aggressive fish really could flare. Black convicts do it, bettas, Gouramis...this is both male and female


Eventually the female will have enough of the constant harassment and defend herself.
