Should I vacuum the fish waste off of my sand or should I keep it to act as fertilizer for my plants?? I only have 2.

i would definitely vacuum it up. It is only continuing to pollute the water with harmful nitrates.... fish wasted does add more nitrate to water, which is good for plants... but plants don't need high levels of nitrate to survive. How are the plants doing by the way? Are they struggling and you are looking for a way to help them thrive?

they should be fine...if they start to die or look poor, then worry about their nutrients.

Alright. I was just curious cuz somebody said to leave it. And my sand needed cleaning and I was feeling lazy and didn't wanna have to do it if I didn't have to...lol
