ive got a little fiddler crab that i found at a pet shop that had no legs or claws. i offered to take him home and now he lives with my betta! (under his own cup with holes because miss Petunia will pick on him for sure) does anyone have experience with this? he seems to be doing okay so far and looks like his legs might be starting to grow back (i see little nubbies lol) and seems to be eating whenever he catches something

Fiddler crabs are a brackish water species--they need marine salt. They also need a land area to get out of the water so they don't suffocate. Maybe set up a small tank for him by himself with a sloping sandy beach area and slowly convert him over to brackish? He'll probably heal better that way, too. Poor little guy.
