Figure 8 puffer Question

Hello everyone, ive recently set up a 20 gallon long brackish water tank and ive always wanted to have a figure 8 puffer so when my LFS gets them in I'm going to pick one up, and I am wondering if guppies are suitable tank mates that can live with the puffer. Thanks

yes I know I'm planning to move him to a 55 or 40b in a few months

They're aggressive, do your self a favor and set up the appropriate sized tank and getting it cycled prior to purchasing the fish. Maybe black Molly's for tank mates? They can handle some abuse
