Filter question?

I recently purchased a new aqua flow xl filter for my 120l tank, its for a 200l and filters 500l p/h. I also have my old fluval 100 filter running too yet my tank still has loads of little bits floating in it?? They are only like dust particle size but its really annoying me. Is there anything else I can do?

You could try putting in a polishing pad. It will collect very fine particulates.

Sound like micro bubbles, are there any air diffusers or bubblers near the filter intake tube?

What's a polishing pad? No there is another filter running next to it but that's all, I haven't got any airstone in the tank yet.

It's a polyester pad that collects very fine materials. (microscopic)
It's kinda like pillow stuffing.

Do you have an air stone?

Some times is just mini air bibles due to the excess of agitation between the two filters, try to shutdown the air stone (if you have one) for 2 day and this will fix it.

No I don't have one yet, its not bubbles its little bits of dust or dirt?

I've taken out my old filter and now I'm getting the little bubbles out of my new filter??
