Okay guys. I have an AC50 and a small sponge filter that have both been running on my 20g tank for a couple months. The sponge filter is going to be used for a 10g fry tank, as soon as my GBR's breed. Today I picked up an AC30 to setup a peaceful 10g tank in my dorm room(we can't have anything bigger than 10g ). My question...If I throw the sponge filter and ac30 in my new(empty) 10g tank with my betta...is that enough to keep things stable and get some bacterial growth on the AC30 so I can introduce more fish?
Thanks,
Mike
