Fin rot or nipping?

I've noticed some small white spots in the top fin of my gold ram and I'm not sure if it's just the fins healing from being nipped or if it's fin rot, none of the other fish in the tank have anything similar so I'm thinking that it's just from nipping. Any ideas?

That looks more like the start of ich to me.

Test your water NOW. I can Definitely see that being ICH. If anything is high do water change then test water again. If he had fin nip in that same area, fish often nip at places that are already wounded. It looks like ich, or fin rot to me.

Thank you and it's 34 gallons I have 4 rams (2 bolivian, one german blue and the gold one in this picture) and I just added a firemouth cichlid yesterday.
