I killed all of my fish in one of my tanks because I accidentally left the CO2 on overnight but *did* turn off the atmosphere because it was causing so much surface agitation that I thought the fish would want a break from it.
Get a system with a solenoid!
I've pretty much been begging (elsewhere) for someone to just tell me what to buy. I'm using limewood right now, which produces bubbles so fine you can't even see them. They aren't made to last very long, and I'm researching ceramic disk diffusers and atomizers.
