Fins and tank parameters

I had a fish die today in my tank. When I pulled him out a piece of his fin ripped off and fell in the tank. I can’t find where the piece went. Will that affect my tank parameters? For right now everything looks good.

Sorry that no one responded to this earlier. No, it will not. It might slightly increase ammonia but if you’re tank is cycled you’ll be fine. It will bio-degrade like the fish poop and everything else. All is good. Cheers.
