I found this tank on Craigslist that comes with 2 canister filters sand and everything it's a 150 gallon tank 72"x18"x28". I want to buy it and leave it dry tell after college but would it be big enough for a fire eel? The whole point in buying a big tank would be so I can buy a eel in the future. Or even a tire track eel either one would be amazing to own!

Is that only 1.5 foot tall?

If so I'd say that should be fine for a fire eel, normally 180G or more is advised but that's due to ensuring the depth is sufficient for the eel.

Yah it's 1.5 feet tall is that going to be fine in the future? I just want a single eel and maybe some type of fast surface dweller like silver dollars
