You could do a couple dwarf gourami with a group of corys otos or pitbull plecos. They aren't big fish but they are bigger than your average tetra or danio with a different look and would be fine in a 20 high

I think dawrf gourami would be good. You have enough for a couple of them. They are also no big catfish that can fit inthere since the footprint is so small. You said you already have corys and a bnp, so you do not have room for anymore catfish types anyhow unless you added another cory or 2.

Yes I am going to add 2 more cories. Still haven't decided on a centerpiece fish though
