I have a 20 gal.hexagon tank with a bristlenose pleco ( about 5″ ) in it. What other fish would be recommended to get that will get along with him/her? The tank is in a nursing home and the residents would like some fish like angelfish or something colorful or even a crab. Also do I need another cleaner or would the crab help if they get along?:thanks:

Hi, that's a pretty big fish on bio-load for that size tank so imo would limit options. I wouldn't put an angelfish in a tank that small. No crab either.

I'd look at a school of small fish that will cover the upper section of tank and the bn catfish can have the bottom. He will appreciate some driftwood in there just in case fyi. Live-bearers - guppies maybe.
