Fish extremely scared

I bought a small koi for my pond. I am placing it in my 100gal tank until it grows to a decent size. I have had this fish for a week and it is still extremely afraid of me. When I get near the tank, it will face away from me and/or run away. It will not eat either when I'm watching it.

Will it get used to me overtime? What can I do to speed up the process?

It will settle down once it makes the connection between you and food, some fish are just slower than others.

sit by the tank for a while, i noticed even if i move, if i have been there for 30 min my pleco wont run and hide.
