I got Simon, a Dragonscale betta, yesterday and think he may be partially blind. He has trouble realizing I've added food to his tank and, when he does see it, he swims up to it sideways and very slowly and tries to grab it and almost always misses it (either doesn't manage to grab it at all or it hits him in the face, not his mouth). The way he acts, it's almost like he's blind in one eye and can't judge the distance or location of the food. Any suggestions on how to help so he doesn't go hungry?

Just checking but tank light not too strong? I always feed in same spot at about same time with a floating pellet if that helps.
