fish food

Hi all,can anyone please suggest a decent fish food that won't leave a hell of a mess after I've fed them.I'm using fluval 3mm sinking pellets.New life spectrum perhaps? Thanks

NLS and Omega One are good ones.

I have used Omega One and NorthFin pellets without any issue.

And very little mess in the tank.

I use new life spectrum flakes, Thera+ pellets, and algae max pellets.


What kind of mess are you getting?

Just a heap of floaties for about 2 hours after they feed.Didn't happen with other foods I'd given them

+ fresh (infused) nettle, spinach or (live or frozen) brine shrimp.

Maybe you're feeding too much or too quickly. You should feed enough to where there isn't anything really left over.
