Don't have a decent picture.

They're barbs, roughly the shape of cherry barbs, but a little taller. About 2" long.

The bottom half is a fiery red that fades to bright orange along the dorsal ridge. The ones I saw were about 2" long overall.

The store called them "Indian fire barbs." Any ideas?

I'm going back to the store tonight, so I'll see if I can get a better one.

OK while your there see if they will give you a pic. usually they have a pic of the fish that tells alittle about the fish and tells its price. see if they will give you one of those.

Odessa barb is my guess. Odessa Barb

No, nothing like the Odessa barb.

There is no gray, green, or blue anywhere on the body. The whole thing is red and orange.

The store was closed today, but I'll go there tomorrow.

If the eyes are red, too, they might be albino cherry barbs. I have some with similar coloring, which varies from red and orange in the males to a pale all-over orange in the females. Otherwise, no idea.

Do they look like the fish pictured here? http://www.elmersaquarium.com/10barb_cherry.htm
