Fish ID

i dont know if im posting this in the right place or not but here goes... i bought this guy as a "red plec" i cant seem to find any info about him, any help with a more common name or a latin name would be much appreciated.

Could actually be a brown spotted plec or high fin spotted.

The sign in the store only said red pleco and max size 10", now I'm thinking its one that's gonna get double that size
