Fish identification

Can anyone tell me what kind of pleco fish I have? It's about 5 inches and growing he's very mild mannered and never let's anyone see him eat! But a great fish none the less

He's a common pleco- they have lovely peaceful dispositions. Just such a shame they don't stop growing at 12 inches

Yeah ill have to move him in about a year or so :/ lol

I'll be having to do the same thing with my gibbiceps in another 12 months. They get even bigger than the commons. They're prettier, but don't have the gentle disposition of the commons. Wish I had known that 2 years ago

Lol yeah I learned my lesson when I tried to out a cichlid with a blood parrot , now I plan and research before I make any additions
