Fish suggestions for a 20g L

i have had experience with these fish and they actually prefer the company of others. it's the reg. gouramis that are reall'y territorial wioth each other

Depends on the individual's temperament, some do not want any other gourami in the tank and some prefer the company of them. I think if you're going to try for 2 or more to get same size ones and add them at the same time so that one hasn't already claimed his/her territory.
