I was a psych major in college, but all the fish experiments I read about always used goldfish.

I honestly think it depends on the fish, some fish have more " Sexy " then others. I have to say, my fish, have alot more "sexy" then the pet stores.

I am trying to "untrain" my fish. They are used to being fed on one end of my tank, and now that I have a new filter on this side, if I put the food over there it just falls to the bottom. The poor hatchets wont chase the food so I am trying to get them to come to the other side to eat (where the water is more calm). One or two of them have caught on, but the others still wait in the rather strong current for their meal.

It is a good idea to turn the filters off durring feeding.. keeps the food out of the filter.. It also helps keep [acronym:dce4aa2ba2="Phosphate"]PO4[/acronym:dce4aa2ba2] down.. [acronym:dce4aa2ba2="Hope this helps (or) Happy to help"]HTH[/acronym:dce4aa2ba2]
