I have a 4 inch oscar and a missing 2 inch placo you dont think he would of ate him do you? I figure with such a rough body none of my cichlids would eat him.

Have you searched everywhere in your tank plecos like to hide. I didn't see mine for weeks, thinking I had looked everywhere it could fit. I was wrong. I have a square clay pot type decoration, it's put in upside down, there are fish shapes cut out. The pleco could fit in there, that is where it had been hiding.

Hes gone i removed all objects in tank and changed half the water and cleaned the gravel ... I just didnt imagine the oscar would swallow the pleco whole.

i can imagine a hungry oscar eating a small pleco like that, no problem IMO
