Fishless Cycle and Test Kits

How long does the Fishless cycle usually last in a tank around 75g?

Also, will SW Ammonia, Nitrate, and Nitrite test kits work on a FW tank?

A fishless cycle can take one to several weeks depending on several conditions. Add established filter media and turn up the temperature to speed things along.

I don't think SW kits would work for FW. If they did, the manufacturer wouldn't need to make two kits.

I thought the two kits had different tests. But it seems the difference is in the test cards.

Nitrite test works for fresh or salt water

Also, most of my tanks have cycled within 20-22 days.
