Floating algae

Hi,

I'm starting to get desperate. My aquarium has 6 weeks, all the water parameters look great but nitrates are still 0. They went up a little bit 3 weeks ago and suddenly the water became green. We've been doing water changes, change the filter and even used a couple ignore times acuarel f. Every of those options give us clear water for a couple of days but after those the water starts to turn green again...

what shoul we do?

Complete black out, no lights at all for like two week. Like take some fabric and wrap around the tank. No lights coming in at all.

Are you trying to cycle this tank? Or is this one that is currently running?

Uv filter will clear that up

The aquarium is already cycled, I have tried using one of the clarifying products hat coagulates the algae and it cleans it up in a couple of hours, however in like 4-5 days when the nitrates start to appear the algae feeds on it an reapers. I have a constant 0 on nitrates instead of them rising, algae appears. No over feeding and light is on for about 5-6 hours.
