Hey guys, I need some help.. I have a Fluval 405 and I've had it for about a year or so. I go and do maintenance and try to start the prime (hate that part about the canister) and I can't get any water now to fill into the canister.. I use a Hydor Koralia water pump. I've read that you could use powerheads to prime the Fluval 405.. Can I use the Hydor water pump? Also, should I take everything apart and redo the setup?
Thanks!

I had this same issue with my 205 and it turned out it was because the intake wasn't screwed tight enough and the little ball was blocking the suction.

One thing I found that makes it easier for my Fluvals is to fill them with tank water after cleaning, then latch down the lid, hook them back up and turn them on. Might take a minute of priming to get trapped air out, they "burp" for a second then work just fine.
