I found this beautiful driftwood, it is actually a root and step of a chopped plant which still had few small leaflets. So I got this home and now boiling before I let it dry fully.

Are there any risks of keeping such a wood in my established tank?IMG_8521.jpg

Sometimes with driftwood I find I get a bit of fungus (I assume store bought ones are treated). Sometimes it goes away and sometimes I just ditch the wood. That looks a nice piece though and worth the effort to sink.

Sure thank you I have kept it for drying now as it was raw wood. Once dried completely I will sink it in a bucket.
