Freaking out here

I have a male BN about 4 inches who is behaving Very bizarrely! He is on his driftwood, with his mouth WIDE open, sometimes breathing slowly, and other times panting rapidly. I'll try and upload a pic and get you params, but I am already late for work. In the meantime, has anyone come across this? He also has his spiny cheeks puffed out!

He looks like an alien! I've never witnessed this in him or any of my other BN.

Hey mate.
My Bn is about 4 inches aswell and he puffs out his pointy cheeks every now and then.
Ave got no idea what it is. Hopefully someone can help!:/
