Freshwater chemicals

Does anyone have an opinion on water clarifying additives. My tank although thriving seems cloudy. Do these chemicals really help clear the water or just a waste of money ?

All they do is stick molecules together to make it somewhat look clear. It's possibly just bacterial bloom so just keep up with the water changes and it should go.
