Hello all.

I was wondering what all you think I would need to create a mostly sustainable tank. What type of plants, fish, etc. Im assuming algae eaters, bottom feeders and things of that nature. Or if this is silly, then what is just some good plants to use and stuff like that in general.

Where the fish and plants take care of themselves for the most part. I'll still feed them everyday and I'm sure clean every now and then

The more plants you have the less issue with nitrates you'll have
The less stock you have the less issue with mineral deficiencies you'll have
The larger tank you have the less issues you'll have

can o' worms with this question....

but anyway, you pretty much just have to make sure all nutrient cycles are complete. Nitrogen cycle, obviously, O2 and CO2 balance, food web, etc. It's all science...

science!
