How long do you qt your FW fish?

It depends on where I get them from, LFS or a chain store like Petsmart. If it's my LFS usually 1-2 weeks. Chain store, sometimes upwards of 4 weeks. Since our QT tank is a 5.5, QT'ing can be a chore, but worth it.

min 3-4 weeks. if its something thats wild caught 4-5 weeks or longer. i have had things in qt for several months rather be safe then sorry.

Honestly, I don't QT my fish when I add them to my tank. I've never had a problem with this.

The reason is simply that I'm not aloud to have a million tanks set up, just one small tank.
I acclimate my fish carefully for 20 minutes and that method seems to work fine.
