I have a 55 gallon tall acrylic on a stand but there is an (almost) 1/32 gap on one short side in the center. All corners are well seated. Is this an issue?

I placed several layers of thin manila cardboard beneath the tank and will hope for the best.

Good luck! Keep us posted? I've seen some tanks sag a little ok as long as no twist but tbh never had issues like that.

A twist would be very bad. A lack of support at a corner would be very bad. A gap of 1/32 is very bad because it might as well be infinity, gravity uncaring about such things. But, at this point in the process I just don't give a crap. If my 55 G cracks, I will rebuild with a 70 G.
