Getting a free 55g

I went with 20 blue neons. So now the current stock is as follows.

20 neons
10 Rummynose
6 red coral Platys
2 loaches
1 BNC
1 Upside down catfish.

and get this... 1 red cherry shrimp. lol. I think he must have taken a ride on a plant I moved over. I saw him in there a week ago and figured one of the loaches would get him. But I just saw him again last night. He's completely lost all color, I don't blame him though, better chance of survival.

So my betta has gone missing... I've looked everywhere. inside and outside the tank. I didn't check the filters, but I doubt he could make it in there.

They can get into the tiniest spaces and are really good jumpers. Have you checked under the stand?

According to the tracking of my order on Amazon, my driftwood should have arrived today! We'll see when I get home! Expect a bunch of photos, because I know a few of you are interested in buying the same package. We'll see what we get! xFingers Crossedx

and I still havent found that missing betta... Im so confused and kind of grossed out, can't imagine what condition its in.

So the driftwood has arrived! Part of me wants to write the guy and ask him when will the "large" pieces be arriving, and the other wants to write and thank him for the beautiful small pieces. At least some of them are really nice. But from what I've seen at the LFSs these would all be considered small.

Im boiling a couple of them right now, I think I'll try and get credit at the LFS for some, I dunno yet.

I was hoping for something that would be at least 3/4 the height of my 55g

With a little thought and creativity, I was able to combine the pieces of DW. I think it's lookin goooooood. I still have a few more pieces to add, and then it's time to get some more plants!

Ive got a few more pieces I would like to stack, but it seems this has worked out. At least I was able to create some nice peaks for moss to grow on!

I have laid in the last 2 pieces. Once I get some plants growing on them I'm hoping they'll look like 2 large pieces on each end of the tank.

Now I just need some input on what plants to get for the driftwood. Any ideas?

you could do dwarf baby tears if your light is strong enough and have co2

Yea, I thought of the same thing and pulled some from my 10 gallon. But im looking for something i don't already have. Thank you though!

Went to the LFS and found this. I'm guessing its dwarf baby tears.

But maybe I'm wrong because I have Baby tears, and they are fairly small, these we ones are REALLY small.
