I contacted aqueon via email and was told to ship in any box no receipt needed.
Got a replacement no questions asked...
I have read they replace with refurbished units but honestly did not confirm...
I have well over 20 now and am waiting for my next 4 to arrive.
Only ONE failure in all this time(last 8-10 years)...
On a personal note I pulled out two ehiems I had in the fish closet yesterday...
Now I remember why they were there!
Only thing I like about them is the HUGE cord....
I have one titanium in my RO prep barrel.
FASTEST heater I have ever owned and yea I like the external control also...

I had a titanium heater that would heat 10 degrees over the setting on the controller and then randomly reset itself to 78 and overheat the tank.

Yea the nat geo has a really long cord which is nice being that my 60 gallon is like 5.5ft tall or something like that.

I've been using two aqueon pros for the last year and no complaints. They're either 250w or 300w. Got very good reviews

I have an Aqueon Pro 200W in my 75g and it's done well so far. I see a lot of rave reviews on Eheim so I'm gonna give them a shot. Two 300W's are already on the way for the 240g.
