Are Ghost Shrimp and Glass Shrimp the same thing or different species?

They are the same. However, there's multiple species that get lumped into the ghost /glass shrimp category.

Yes that's the scientific name of the ones I was looking at. So they will be fine in any tank, just perhaps be eaten themselves but not eat fish.

Yes. They won't eat fish (except maybe dead ones) but the fish will eat them.

As far as I know it's fine.

Shrimp will rapidly eat dead fish, but I never saw them eat live fish. My angels finished off the last of my ghost shrimp...
