ghost shrimp cleaned my finger

I was doing a PWC in my tank and i had my hand in the water to vac the gravel. all four of my ghost shrimp came over to give a look. I held out my finger and they all came to it and i cold feel their little legs tickling me. was this cleaning or were they defending their space from an alien intruder?

It was probably just looking for something to eat on your finger. Ghost Shrimp will normally dart away if confronted by anything large.

haha my favorite ghostirs did that everytime! she was a big one too, almost 2 inches long!

though, I woke up the other day to her missing her head!
