I've two of these guys for a month now and love them! They did take about a week to adjust and to eat. Mine eat algae wafers, shrimp pellets and frozen brine shrimp and red worms after lights out. They also algae sheets strips rubber banded to a rock but I've never been able to get them to eat zuchinni or cucumber. Maybe yours will. Hope they do great for you. I coaxed mine along by offering a lot of variety and as a result probably over fed the tank. Keep your water changes up in this adjustment time. These guys like good water.

I have been testing the water regularily, maybe too much [acronym:420c5f64f3="Laughing out loud"]LOL[/acronym:420c5f64f3], just to be sure. I wouldn't want anything to happen to him, he is my new baby.

Congrats! They are such beautiful fish. I hope yours is more social than mine. Mine seems to have chosen a new hiding place, and I don't know where it is. I haven't seen him in weeks.
