The folks that know goldfish the best I think have replied already. I can't give advice on Goldfish , I have limited experience with them. I do know that water changes, and some salt can work wonders for all freshwater fish. Hope you wet pet pulls out of it soon.

from experience, fancy goldfish (orandas, lionheads, ranchus, telescopes etc..) do better with a little warmer temperatures (65-75F)

It helps in digestion.

It's really difficult to treat swimbladder once it has taken effect.
Thawed peas helps, as well as a little salt, warmer temps.

But its probably best to separate the sick fish from the others. And treat him in a hospital tank.

You can also try buying Anacharis plants and floating them. GF love eating those, also good for constipation.

Swim Bladder issues can be sign of:
Constipation
Bacterial or other infection
Or parasites.

Unfortunately it is a vague symptom. I always treat for constipation first, then go from there and try meds only if necessary.

Fancies are prone to SB issues partly due to their distorted body shape. They can live a long time. But not all.
