got new bulbs but they wont turn on

i upgraded to 75wat bulbs and was wondering if i neen new starters or something? they just flicker

Probably. The starters and/or ballasts are made for a certain wattage bulb and may not drive a larger bulb.

ok they didnt have anything that strong, i need some thing to get the 2 24in 75wat bulbs working
