Gouramis

Hey everyone

I visited the gourami section in the fish store and started to wonder, is it possible to keep different varieties of three spot gouramis, specifically blue and gold, in the same tank? This is a tank i will probably never do, but i couldnt find anything on the internet so i thought i'd come here

Those are just different color morphs of the same fish ( originally Blues/ 3 spots) not different species so you would have to use the same criteria as you would for housing either as they can breed together with no issues.

They may fight. The 3 Spots can get quite nasty with each other. If you have a pair in a large tank with plenty of floating plants and other plants...then they may stay peaceful. Some are fairly mellow, some hit breeding age and slaughter or harass ALL tank mates.

Kinda like Bettas. YMMV
