Gouramis eat live breeder babies??
I have four mollies, 1 male, 3 female. I recently purchased 2 male dwarf gouramis.
will the gouramis eat the babies of mollies? one more thing. a site said that these 2 types were very compatable with each other, but already the gourami is attacking my mollies. what are your thoughts.

I think everything eats the young of livebearers.
I don't know alot about dwarf gouramis but my limited experience with them (years ago) is that they can be very territorial.

The Gouramis will eat the babies, and I am pretty sure the Mollies wil eat thier own babies too. If you want to raise babies you can use a fry catcher, and then transfer them to a separate growout tank.

The mollies are the main threat....the gouramis will try, but the fry might be a bit large for them.

Well, from personal experience, my male dwarf Gourami tang, occasionally will be agressive towards new fish but generally their very well together. I have 2 male mollies and 4 female ones and yes, they do eat the babies...and if you have danios, they will eat them too ... they crippled one of mine and it died the next day, but those things will attack anything meaty but my mollies ate more babies than any other of my fish. And your gourami males sound like my molly males.. they won't let anyone near their girls =3
