Anyone know a good way to fix a gravel vac? The hose is fine. The vac seems clogged, but I don't see anything. If I take the vac off, it siphons fine. The vac will hardly let any water go through it. Can it get fixed? Or am I stuck buying a new one?

Usually at the top of the vac tube there is a one way valve which stops water flowing out of the syphon tube, this works when you move the syphon up and down in order to start the water running. Sand may have got into the seat of the valve causing it not to shut properly therefor preventing the syphoning action. Give a good blast with a hose up through the plastic syphon tube and let it dry out completley, then give it a few good bangs and see if it re seats the one way valve properley. If it wont work chances are the one way valve has broken or worn out.
