Green Tiger Barbs
I'd like to get a small school of green tiger barbs. would they work with the fish in my aquarium?

The green Tiger Barbs (simply a color morph of the Tiger Barb) share all of the habits of their normally-colored bretheren. They are active, personable fish which can be aggressive on occasion and will nip the fins of other fish (especially long-finned varieties). You could keep a small school of Green Tiger Barbs with the fish in your signature but keep in mind that your 20-gallon won't hold too many more fish. In my experience, Tiger Barbs are far less 'nippy' when kept in schools of six or more but I'm not sure your aquarium can handle that many. You might try four of them and see how it goes from there.
