Guppies

I've had my 2 guppies together for about 6 months and they've always done well together. They are starting to show aggression towards each other. It started this morning and is continuing into the afternoon. Is this normal behavior?

Tank size, what gender are they, is it planted/decorated, anything else in the tank?

10 gallon tank. 2 guppies. Male I think. Its planted with driftwood.
