Guppy being bullied by spanner barb, HELP PLEASE!!!

Ive just looked at my fish and noticed one of my guppies fins have been torn, 2 minutes later I saw one of the spanner barbs grab his tail and swam away with the guppy still in his mouth! Does anyone know whats going on? These particular fish have been together for around 4 months now and there has never been a problem. Ive now seperated guppy from the rest of the tank.

Hopefully someone can tell me whats wrong, thanks
