Da Squid hears surf in the shell
hand sanitizer

Random chemistry type question. Before having to stick my hands in the tank water for an extended period of time, I usually wash my hands in sanitizer that is mainly alcohol based with a little bit of lemon extract.

My reasoning is the alcohol would then wash off clean from my hands with tap water and this is better than soaps that leave all sorts of perfumes on the skin. Any sense to this or can the sanitizer stick to skin just as bad as a regular soap would?
