Hello!
Last night I finally did what I wanted to do for a long time.
Since my mom is jealous of my tank and wants to steal it to put in the living room, I suggested just getting a fish for the living room. I have a 2 gallon hex tank from awhile ago. I said, hey ma, let's get a betta! And surprisingly she said, Okay Ger!
So last night we went to walmart, and sadly I looked at all the fish. The new bettas, the dead fish floating in tanks, all the containers with bettas were thick with uneaten food.... I was beside myself with anger and sadness for all of these fish.
I picked a betta that looked the healthiest. He's a beautiful deep red color. I love to watch him, too.
He seems so much happier in a bigger tank, I hope he is.
My mom insists on calling him Bubba. But I told her about Bubba my MIA shrimp. So I think we'll call him Brodie the Betta.
I wish I could rescue all of the unwanted and animals in horrific conditions.
